The Insider's Guide to Getting a Perfect 3D Render

We all like keeping secrets. And the best secrets are the ones that help us close more deals! What are you talking about? Do you want to know what it is? Okay, I'll tell you about it in a minute. But first, I'd like you to understand where it came from and why we think it's important to start with a formula. A 3D render is essentially a sales tool for architects, product designers, and real estate developers, as you may know. It's used to show a product and pitch a project that's packed with the tiniest details (which are usually the most important), and to give a sense of realism to a product, room, or space before it's even built.

Now, as any other sales tool, there’s a proper way to use renderings, and if it's not done right, then there is the chance that a lot of working hours go right to the trash. This is why we structured a set of steps to follow every single time. Our so called “Secret formula” which won´t be a secret no more. It is quite simple actually, but also very powerful. The formula goes like this:

PERFECT RENDERS = (BRIEFING + PROPOSING) / (EDITING * ENGAGEMENT)

The following is how it works:

1. Briefing

This is the first and most important step. We don't just talk about your client's wants and needs; we also talk about your own. Every firm and designer has their own distinct style and vibe, which we want to honor and incorporate into the renderings. Your client would get the impression that we are working together in this manner.

2. Proposing

It's our job to hit the nail on the head once we've figured out who you are and who your client is. To get a first version of the render, we use a work cell made up of team members that we know will flow properly. We'll pitch it to you once it's finished. We only share it with you if we pass your filter, so you can pitch it to the final client.

3. Editing

After the pitching process, there's always a little tinkering to be done. We fix whatever needs to be fixed in order to improve the render. Then we give it a final polish so it can serve as a reference during the construction process.

4. Engagement

is the hidden ingredient. To Render3dstation, engaging entails pimping the render not just as it is, but also a little more. This must be in keeping with the firm's style as well as the personality of the client. There's a little more blue over there, and there's another shadow here.

Perfect 3d rendering = Happy Customers

Conclusion:

While our "secret formula" may appear to be self-evident, it is actually very effective. Over the years, we've put it to the test, and the findings have always been positive.
